USAINS Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. is a fullyowned subsidiary of USAINS Holding Sdn Bhd, the commercial arm of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).

As the commercial subsidiary of USM, USAINS Healthcare Sdn Bhd is entrusted with the development of revenue-generating enterprises, leveraging the expertise available at USM by optimising the utilization of USM's diverse assets, including the USM Executive Health Services, laboratory services, contract research, and clinical trial programs, both directly and indirectly. The primary goal is to make a beneficial impact on USM and its broader community. As an integral component of the Memorandum of Understanding executed between USM and USAINS on October 21, 1999, USAINS Healthcare assumes responsibility for managing and facilitating the USM Executive Health Services (EHS).

EHS is designed to enable patients to access treatment by Hospital USM’s wide range of multi-disciplinary specialists and provide high-quality healthcare services while concurrently fostering financial sustainability for both specialists and the academic institution.
